Biogenica BIO
"You can trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment to a
mineral deficiency."
Dr. Linus Pauling, winner of two Nobel Prizes
Researchers around the world have documented the health significance of micronutrients
such as vitamins, minerals and trace minerals in nourishing the body. A micronutrient
deficient body is unable to flourish and maintain optimal health. While the body can
manufacture some vitamins, minerals must be obtained from food sources. Minerals are the
foundation upon which all nutrition is built.
Minerals are spread throughout our planet using a recycling pattern that starts deep
beneath the ocean where the movement of its floor under continents creates heat and
pressure, releasing minerals from deep inside the earth. As the low places are eventually
elevated to mountains, the minerals, which they contain, are carried down and deposited in
the plains through natural erosion, enriching soils which offer abundant fruits vegetables
grains and meats. |

Mineral Depletion
Agricultural practices of the past 100 years have focused on increased yield with
little thought of the living soil as a source of this bounteous health. We now have the
technology to know that a very broad spectrum of minerals exists in rich soils. As the
soils are repeatedly tilled and subject to modern agricultural practices, the myriad of
naturally occurring minerals are depleted and replenished with restricted chemical
fertilizers containing phosphate, potash and nitrogen. With such poor agricultural
management, the multitude of life-giving trace minerals which have been absorbed through
several generations of crops are lost forever. This unfortunate development coupled with
the excessive food processing practices of our modern society, robs our foods from
naturally occurring minerals and trace minerals, giving rise to a multitude of modern
diseases such as cardiovascular problems, obesity, cancer, depression etc.
US Senate Document #264 published in 1936 stipulates the following:
"
It is bad news to learn from our leading authorities that 99% of the American
people are deficient in these minerals, and that a marked deficiency in any one of the
more important minerals actually results in disease. Any upset of the balance, any
considerable lack of one or another element, however microscopic the body requirement may
be, and we sicken, suffer, and shorten our lives."
"No man of today can
eat enough fruits and vegetables to supply his stomach with the mineral salts he requires
for perfect health, because his stomach isn't big enough to hold them." |
